Change Management

Big change
fails on the people side.

Acquisition, transition, transformation, strategic pivot.

Whatever the change, we do the people side—and build the capability your organization owns long after we’re gone.

Discuss Your Situation

No pitch. Just a straightforward discussion about what you’re facing.

Build networks of change champions—volunteers who become local experts. They train ambassadors. Capability spreads organically.

The Work

Change management is the river that runs through everything we do.

When we’re doing leadership development, we’re thinking about how transitions affect the organization. When we’re designing talent strategy, we’re building the change plan alongside it. Change management is embedded in how we work.

There’s technical change management—practitioners embedded in the technology itself, experts in the specific product being rolled out. That’s not us. We do the people side—working with executive sponsors and leaders, and directly with the managers and employees who have to live it, to navigate the change and make it sustainable.

“Something is happening. They’re facing something they don’t know. They don’t feel confident navigating. They need guidance, extra hands, and a thought leader.”

Organizational development is the broader discipline. Change management is how we execute it.

Organizational development is the work that makes strategy executable—building team capability, learning systems, leadership growth, and the change resilience an organization needs when change keeps coming faster and faster. AI alone is reshaping how people work, and leaders have to keep their organizations steady through it. Change management is a core tool within that work, but the full picture also includes leadership development, communication, employee engagement, team effectiveness, and culture transformation.

When Organizations Call

Something significant is happening.

These are the moments when the people side can’t be an afterthought.

Transformation

Large-scale change across the organization—multiple workstreams, real complexity. The time to bring us in is the planning phase, not once you’re already in it and the lack of change infrastructure has become visible, usually too late.

Acquisition & Integration

Two organizations becoming one. Different cultures, different systems, different ways of working. The deal math assumed the talent would stay. Now you have to make sure they do.

Leadership Transition

New CEO, new executive team, new direction. The transition plan covers the role—but nobody’s developing the leaders who have to make it happen.

Strategic Pivot

The business model is shifting—but the strategy usually isn’t clear yet, and not everyone’s on board. The team needs a direction it believes in, plus new skills and a new mindset to get there.

Culture That Hasn’t Scaled

The culture that worked at 30 people doesn’t work at 150. Leaders keep doing what they’ve always done—they’ve hired great people but haven’t learned to hand off and lead at a larger scale. Values are understood but not yet built into how work gets done.

Team & Leadership Effectiveness

The leadership team is talented individually but dysfunctional together. Decisions aren’t timely and don’t stick, open dialogue and real consensus don’t happen, and accountability isn’t consistent. The issue is how the team operates.

The Approach

Build capability that stays when we leave.

Our goal is to make sure that when we’re done, the organization has the institutional knowledge to sustain the change without relying on us.

Sponsorship & Change Leadership

We train your most senior leaders on what visible, active change sponsorship actually looks like. Not approval—active leadership through the messy middle. Then cascade to directors, managers, and front-line leaders.

Organizational Development

Before we change anything: what’s actually happening? Culture diagnostics, leadership capability mapping, engagement data, stakeholder interviews. We assess the organization as it is today and help you build the one your strategy needs.

Change Communications

Cascade strategy, town hall design, leadership messaging. Change communication is its own discipline—different from corporate communications—and it’s what gets people on board and wanting to be part of the change. We build that capacity so your team owns the voice of change.

Implementation & Capability Transfer

You may already have the strategy—sometimes from a big-name firm—but a strategy your team can’t execute isn’t worth much. We don’t hand you a plan and disappear; we co-execute alongside your team, build change champion networks, train ambassadors, and document processes. When we leave, the organization owns the capability.

One Non-Negotiable

Change doesn’t hold without an active executive sponsor. If a leader is willing to approve the change but not to visibly lead it, we’ll tell you—and we won’t take the engagement. In our experience it’s the single clearest predictor of whether the change sticks.

Experience

We’ve done this at scale.

Twenty-six years of leading change and developing organizations through major transitions—from teams of 50 to global enterprises of tens of thousands. We pull from Prosci, Kotter, Conner, Bridges, and others—or work within the practice your organization has already adopted—because knowing which methodology fits the situation matters more than having a favorite framework.
