A vision for a better workplace: The TRG story

The Resources Group’s (TRG) founder and owner’s story is not totally unique. In fact, it’s a story that starts out like many women who have tried to balance careers and family. Jenn Barr lived the fast-paced corporate life, working her way into HR leadership. Yet, work-life balance was a challenge once she started to grow her family. How do you juggle taking care of a growing family and career simultaneously?  

Jenn raised a fantastic family but realized that career and family shouldn’t be a binary choice for women (or any person). So, she ventured out to create her own company with her vision of fostering a culture that truly focuses on work-life balance and empowering everyone to be their best. But also, she asked, “how can we guide other companies who want to do the same?”

With that vision, Jenn created The Resources Group and continues to build a team of unbelievably talented people who champion the same values and culture. Now, TRG has an unflappable team that guides companies through the ever-changing world. Whether it’s transformational change, organization development, strategic HR, communications, or DEI work, the team can strategize, plan, and execute complex and impactful work that drives companies’ progress and success.
